General Note
"The government presents its report into work and family. If women will hold most of Australia?s human capital in the next 20 years, then Australia needs to carefully consider how women will participate in the workforce and, in particular, how they will manage their work and family responsibilities. The patterns of increasing labour force participation mean that the paid economy is playing a greater role in the arrangements families make to earn income and provide for dependents. This report looks at what actions government could take to increase women's participation in the workforce." Australian Policy Online website, 12.12.06.
