| Arthur Murch (1902-1989) was a painter, sculptor, war artist and teacher. During his career, Murch was a colleague of Rayner Hoff, Donald Friend, Sir William Dobell, Jean Appleton and George Lambert. He won the 1949 Archibald Prize with his portrait of Bonar Dunlop. | Ernie Cahill was a awarded life membership of the NSW Teachers Federation in 1947. He died in 1958. The Federation established a memorial in his honour, Education Vol. 40 No. 6 May 20 1959, page 12. |
