General Note	Jennie George was President of the New South Wales Teachers Federation between 1986 and 1989. She was also General Secretary of the Federation between the years 1980 to 1982.
	Portrait was completed while Jennie George was the President of the ACTU in 1998 and was made from sketches used for an Archibald Prize entry.
