Adult migrant education provides: special English classes for newly arrived migrants; Morning, afternoon or evening English classes at hostels, local schools, factories and education centres; Special English classes for pregnant women; Payment of a living allowance for students in full-time courses. Funding for adult migrant education is a Federal Government responsibility. A permanent English language service means: permanent funding; permanent teachers; permanent accommodation.
