Summary Note "The papers in this edition of 'Social Alternatives' are self-conscious expressions of scholar activism. Collectively, the papers draw attention to the role of education in mobilising the possibility of progressive social change. All of them, bar one, represent the outcome of a conference and writing workshop for education activists held at Flinders University, South Australia, on 8 and 9 November 2018.
One of the articles (p. 36-41) is "Strengthening of the case for teacher judgement: a critique of the rationalities and technologies underpinning Gonski 2.0's renewed call for evidence-based practice" by Bev Rogers.
