Collection code: Artworks. Article featured on page 1 of Sydney Morning Herald- "Govt to schools: we won't budge" by Anne Suskind and Matthew Moore. A rally was held in the Domain to protest cuts to the education budget. Main photograph caption: They came from the city, from the country, some 50,000 parents, teachers and children by Herald estimates, to protest yesterday in the Domain at the education cuts... Dr Metherell described the rally as "a flop". Also includes opinion piece "Day the Middle Class took to streets" by Tony Stephens, and "Feathers fly as Greiner attacks protesters" by Matthew Moore, State Political Correspondent. Unframed copies of articles located in plan cabinet drawers. Federation member Rosina Grieves, a high school teacher, features in the the front page photo.
