On the voices :
Foreword: Sharan Burrow. "'On the voices' is intended as an historical collection and compilation of one hundred years of women's voices as they have influenced the frequently groundbreaking actions of the largest teacher union in Australia. It aims to trace the words and actions of remarkable women as they simultaneously: strove to transform teaching and learning conditions in public education for greater inclusion, effectiveness and fairness; wove campaigns to strengthen the representation of women in their union; drove the case for improved conditions for all working women achieving change both in increments and in leaps; sowed seeds for a more peaceful, compassionate and sustainable society and globe." - Introduction.
