Additional text on poster: You must notify the Federation in writing if you: Resign; Retire; Change your address, name or location; Are appointed full-time (please supply Serial No., Teaching location and appointment date); Change your employment. You must apply in writing for exemption from fees if you are taking a period of: Leave without pay; Maternity leave without pay; Unpaid sick leave; Or extending or amending any periods of leave without pay. Please enclose photocopies of your leave approval document. The unemployed category is specifically for unemployed teachers only. When you have worked one day you must pay the casual fee. Members who subsequently work less than ten days or sixty hours are eligible for a refund of half their casual fee. You cannot belong to the unemployed category unless you are seeking a casual or full-time position with the Department. When making payments to the Federation you must: Always include your relevant membership details, i.e. Serial number, Name etc. when forwarding a money order/bank cheque or personal cheque. Never combine Health Society payments with Federation Fees they are separate accounts.
