Summary Note Salaries. Proposed claim for an increase of $20 per week (including the Medibank Claim) for all members.
Medibank. Negotiations have commenced with the Public Service Board to have members Medibank levies paid by the 'employer'.
Superannuation. The NSW Government has been asked to: * Make it possible for men to retire at 55 on a full pension. * Eliminate the three year qualifying period for units. * Establish a medical appeals tribunal. * Eliminate the deferred retirement bonus. * Introduce promised legislation to give equal rights for women contributors.
ACTION! Associations and staffs discuss the above. Send your opinions and/or endorsement of the salaries claim to the Federation by October 9th. Contact your local M.L.A.'s about the Medibank claim and superannuation improvements to gain their support.
