International Women’s Day (IWD) was first held in March 1911. This global day celebrates the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future and strives to promote positive change and raise awareness of the issues women face in their everyday lives.
Summary Note Poster promoting International Women’s Day (IWD). Features a photograph of an Aboriginal woman, Teenminnie, wearing a possum skin cloak and carrying a baby on her back.
