Registration will commence at 8.30 am in the carpark and the conference will start at 9 am. Keynote speaker. Anne Junor is a lecturer in human resource management and industrial relations at Canberra University. She was a Federation Research Officer from 1983 to 1988. Who can come? All financial women members are welcome to attend. Country delegates. As in previous years Federation will fund one female delegate form each country association and five country delegates from TAFE. Association Secretaries have registration and travel accommodation forms. Country associations may choose to fund additional delegates but please ensure the correct form is used, that is, the form for “Association Funded Delegates”. In order to keep costs of travel as low as possible country delegates must return their registration and travel and accommodation forms by no later than April 30. It is important to note that if registrations are received late and, because of this, it isn’t possible to obtain a cheap rate then the association will have to pay the difference between the cheap rate and the actual fare. City delegates. City delegates should contact their Association Secretary for details on how to register or ring Margaret Bryce on (02) 9287 2100 or 1800 422 845 and request a form. Registrations close on Monday, May 25 for city delegates only. Child-care. Child-care will be available from 8.30 am – 5 pm. To ensure we arrange an appropriate number of carers, it is essential that you complete the child-care section of the registration form and forward it to Julie McCarthy by not later than May 15. Workshops. There will be both policy and hands on workshops. Issues to be addressed: Violence and harassment; Taxation – the debate that needs to be had; Salaries; Republic and the place of women; Public!! If you, the members, have any suggestions for subjects to be covered in the workshops, please fax them to the Federation on (02) 9267 5221, attention Michelle Rosicky.
