Teachers Building Limited was established in 1936 by the NSW Teachers Federation, to finance building of Federation House on land in Phillip Street, Sydney. History includes reference to financial arrangements including shares, tenants, use of building, and letter from Dymphna Cusack supporting the incorporation of a hall within the building of Federation House.
Certificate No. 258473; "I certify that the company styled Teachers Building Limited is incorporated, and tht the said Company is a Limited Company. The date of Incorporation of the said Company is the tenth day of December one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six." Features stamp of NSW Department of Stamp Duties dated 15.12.1936. The amount of stamp duty one pound.
