A wooden rod is threaded through pocket at top of each banner, to which is attached a gold painted wooden finial, custom made, at each end of rod and gold cord for hanging. Concept modelled on bannerettes in Sydney Trades Hall collection. The bannerettes were made by Karen Coote." -- Karen Coote, Conservator, 11.10.19.
