1 ballot box : galvanized steel ; H 39 cm x W 27 cm x D 31 cm + chain and padlock.
General Note
A rectangular galvanised metal voting box with a hinged lid, 2 carrying handles, and 3 metal clasps that allow box to be padlocked and sealed. The lid has a slit in it that allows for ballot or nomination forms to be deposited in the box, but can be sealed to secure contents.
On all sides paper signs have been fixed: “Nomination forms only; Please return ballot box to Diane Hague, Returning Officer.”

Transferred to library 6 August 2020. In use until 2016. Previously until 2016 located in office of media officer on level 3 Teachers Federation House, 23-33 Mary Street, Surry Hills. Media Officer John Hughes arranged for it to be chained to the wall, to prevent it disappearing.
Manufacturer: "Osborn" stamped on metal clasps.
