Summary Note Federation directs Teachers to take the following action:
High Schools: Cease work One Period before normal closing time.
Primary and Infants Schools: Cease work at 2:30 p.m. Where difficulty relating to safety of pupils apply (buses, etc.) it is suggested that a skeleton staff be appointed to provide minimum supervision.
All Metropolitan Teachers: Meet at Archibald Memorial Fountain at 3.30 p.m. and then proceed to Parliament House to demonstrate in support of the urgent needs of Education and interview local members of parliament.
Country Teachers: Hold joint meetings of Infants', Primary and Secondary Teachers to discuss the Education Crisis, and carry Resolutions to be forwarded by telegram that afternoon if possible to local Members of Parliament
