Document is a framed motion from the NSW Parliament that notes: 'on Saturday 19 May the NSW Teachers Federation held the premiere screening of the education historical documentary naa Muru Gurung "to see a path for children", which is a documentary to kindle conversations about teacher unionists who have contributed to the Aboriginal education journey.'
'naa Muru Gurung is a documentary that traces the stories of members who set the way for today's Aboriginal teachers and the federation's long campaign to uphold the rights of our First Peoples and advance the cause of Aboriginal education.'
The documentary was commissioned by the NSW Teachers Federation to mark the centenary of the foundation of the NSW Teachers Federation in 1918. The DVD, Naa muru gurung: to see a path for children, is also available to borrow from the library.
