It is probable that NSWTF designed and printed the poster, though no attribution could be found on any copies inspected. Education Vol 73 No. 10 10 August 1992, featured the image as a wrap-around on the first and last pages, and articles about the Australia needs TAFE campaign. “ TAFETA set up in mid May 1991, a sub-committee (Public Relation Committee) with specific objective of keeping this multi focus role of TAFE in the public eye. This Committee has produced simple but effective promotional material including a logo, T-shirts, badges and notepads. Under the title ‘Australia needs TAFE’ this basic theme will be incorporated in other more specific TAFE campaigns.” – Education 10 August 1992, p. 1.
"In the early 1990s there was a national campaign, “Australia Needs TAFE”, to save TAFE from going to private providers. Together with her friend and colleague, Terry Waters, Lolita designed t-shirts, badges and posters that were distributed nationally." -- Life membership, Lolita Barratt, 2015.
