Banner – Celebrating 40 years of Mardi Gras!
Collection code: Artworks. Originally, 2 banners were fixed to either side of a truck used for the NSW Teachers Federation float in the 2018 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade. Additional text on banner: NSW Teachers Federation supporting LGBTIQ communities. 10 metal eyelets along top and bottom edges. Width of metal eyelets 2.5 mm. Features NSWTF Centenary logo 1918-2018 and colours of LGBTIQ rainbow flag. Transferred to NSWTF library by Mel Smith 16.3.21. Temporarily relocated to rolled banner storage 6, prior to display, 1.11.22 Weight: 2.675 kg.
